Dyan Reaveley Fun at CHA

Dyan Reaveley was in full force with her Dylusions line at Winter CHA 2013.  This lady is a hoot, she has a great personality and she is SO FUNNY :)

 Dyan's art work is amazing!
She had so many wonderful samples in her booth!

I love her couture line.

I love how she doodles the patterns right into the fabrics.

Dyan with Jim Hankins, The Gentleman Crafter.

The last four project are Dina Wakley's.  Dina & Jim are both on Dyan's design team.

Long Awaited Winter CHA 2013 Pictures

Finally, the long awaited Winter CHA 2013 pictures I promised.  I will tell you right now, there are A LOT of pictures, but I just had to show you all of the talent and creativity I encountered!  This is small portion of the outside of the Anaheim Convention Center, it was ENORMOUS!

There were beautiful palm trees everywhere.

I got my picture taken with "The Man" Mr. Tim Holtz, I was so exicted (thanks Amy :)
I am so not photogenic, but I didn't care :)

I am sorry to say, I don't know who created most of the samples I took photos of, but if I had to guess it was Tim & his Design Team.  They were all so great!

Love the new buckle!

What a GREAT Texture Fade Folder!

Looks like some Clearly For Art Film was used as the blades (just my guess)

I am so going to try this!

Great window card!

This one looks like a "Tammy" card :)

Great clipboard die.

This one looks like a "Gentleman Crafter" design.

There's always a crowd at Tim's booth, I love all the antiques!

What a great touch with the old paint brush.

Can't wait to get my hands on that notebook edge die :)

This was the make-n-take at Tim's booth, we got to try out some of the new products coming!

I have lots more pictures to show you in the next couple of days, I hope you enjoy them.  Thanks for looking :)

Teresa Collins Class & Projects

Thank you so much, to Teresa Collins for coming to The Scrapbooking Studio and teaching a fabulous class!!!  It was a full house, the ladies had such a great time.  Here are a few pictures from the evening.

Amy, Teresa & the Moline/Bloomington Staff!!!

Here are all the wonderful projects the Design Team from Bloomington & Moline created for Teresa's Class.  What a great group of talented ladies!!

Now here are my projects that I did, all made from the Stationary Noted collection.  First is a layout, I die cut some flowers using Tim Holtz flower die with several of the paper patterns from the collection.  Then I added some bling to the center of the layered flowers.  I added photo corners, brads, enamel dots and border strips from the collection.

For my second project I made a canvas.  I distressed the edges of the floral background paper.  I used the die cut sheet, file folders, polaroids paper, journal cards paper, enamel dots, brads and washi tape all from the collection.  I added a Tim Holtz pen nib and some bling and a feather from my stash.

Lastly, I made a card using the die cut paper, journal cards paper, photo corners and brads from the collection.  I added a doily from my stash.  I also cut out some more flowers with my Tim Holtz flower die.

Teresa Collins - Now & Then Design Team Projects

I just finished some projects using Teresa Collins - Now & Then Collection.  I loved working with this paper collection.  Up first is a layout, I used gesso and a Crafter's Workshop hexagon stencil to add some texture.  I stitched on the page a little.  The bird veneer is Maya Road and the arrow veneer is Studio Calico.  I added a little of my own bling.  I shaded the paper edges with Tim Holtz Pumice Stone ink and a blender foam tool, then distressed a little with a bone folder.

I used Tim Holtz Pumice Stone Stain to color my Maya Road Chipboard.

Then I made a quick set of tags using the paper and die cut sheet and brad embellishments and backed it to chipboard I cut from Tim Holtz medium tag die.

I made a second layout and accented with the buttons that I added bling to the center to alter just a bit.

The wooden veneers are from Studio Calico and I just added a little of my own bling.

Teresa Collins - Now & Then button collection with bling added to center!

Enamel dots are SO HOT right now, I just love them :)
